Divorce Court Proceedings. Wellington, This Day,
In the Divorce Court decrees nisi were granted by the Chief Justice as follows: — Ellen Polkinghorne v. Wm Polkinghorne; Elizabeth Eenner v. A. J. Renner; May Skipper v. Archibald Skipper; Spencer Gr. Radford v. Suzannah Radford; Annie S. Morrison v. Wm Morrison, and Lucy E. Louth v. Joseph Louth.
The Planters’ Dispute. Wbllington, This Day. The conference of employers and unionist* respecting the printers’ dispute, reduced the issue to seven clauses namely: that the hours per week of classes of labour to be recognised rates of wages, and overtime provisions as so apprenticeship, turnovers, as to conditions of piece work, and standard for oast up. These are being gone into to-day. A Bad Fate. Auckland, This Day, The body of Walter Dempsey, licensee of the Archill Hotel, was found in the harbor this morning. He was recently convicted of being drunk and raising a disturbance on hxs own premises. He received notice to give up possession. Deceased leaves a widow and five children.
