Received this day at 9 24 a.m. Sydney, This Day, Kenley delighted the early birds at Randwick by running the Epsom distance on the course proper in 1 46The first five furlongs in 14. The gallop is one of the fastest ever seen on the ground, with the hurdles wide out, but the horse had nothing to spare at the end. Abington took a tick over 1 49 for the same distance,, finishing well within himself. Sequence acted similarly. Nymagee did a fast round in 235 A. Paul Pry and Hautvillers took 2 36|. Bruntwood did a taking nine furlongs in 2 7. Graspan went one better, occupying a second less. Allinga made a favourable impression in a sik-furlong gallop traversed in 1 24.
