STATE SCHOOL MEDALS.
(To the Editor.)
1 Sib, —I am very sorry to take up so much space in your valuable paper asking through you why the Cobden school children have not received medals like the children of other districts. Is it because they have got lost, or have they put them in mourning because they have no school I think the Cobclen school committee are very slow. Is it because they are afraid to hold their meetings, if so let them ask the Education Board to supply them with a few sets of boxing gloves, so they can practice ready for their meetings and be able to stand their ground like " Our boys in South Africa," and not be afraid and if there is a few medals left they might get one apiece for their bravery. I am, etc, — Kesidhnt.
