One of Queensland’s “ Braves.” mmm [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT.] Brisbane, This Day. In the Ricardo case Captain Dodds, in his evidence, said that at Vet River Ricardo remained under cover while a detachment of Queenslanders with Captain Reed and New Zealanders captured a maxim. When urged by his brother officer to advance, Ricardo said the New Zealanders could lose their men if they liked; he was going to take his back to Queensland.
