Received this day at 9 10 a m. Lohdos, August 14. ' The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,939,000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,960,000 quarters. The Victorian cargo was sold at 28s 81. Nine thousand quarters of Victorian by a sailing ship in August and September were sold at 29s 6d.
At the tallow sales 2,225 casks were offered, and 1,675 sold. Mutton, fine 28s ; medium 275. Beef, fine 28s 3d ; medium 275. Silver is at 38s 213-16 d. Bank stocks areßank of Australasia £BO. Bank of New South Wales £43. Union Bank of Australia £3B. * National Bank of New Zealand £3 10s. Bank of New Zealand, fours, at £lOl 10s.
