(per press association.) Christchurch, This Day. At a meeting of owners and trainers a petition was largely signed, asking the Dunedin Jockey Club to re-open the Derrett case. G. G. Stead has received a cable from Sir Edgar Vincent that Screw Gun won the Ostend Grand Prize of a thousand sovs. Screw Gun was given to Stead in exchange for Multiform.
