CONCILIATION BOARD.

(FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

Dunedin, August 2. At a meeting of the Conciliation Board this morning members took strong exception to the Premiers remarks, namely —that he thought there was too much sitting that they were riding one th ug to death, and that there ought to be more Court and fewer Board members. They said that the remarks were a positive insult to.themselves, and threatened to resign. The matter, however, was held over till the return of Mr Chapman, (chairman.) from Wellington.
