MINING REPORTS.
Bxo EirEß—The mine manager reported as follows s—For the past week nine feet of driving has been done in No 6 level north on broken, stone for the full distance, which shows prospects of fine gold when crushed. To all appearances this looks like the cap of a reef. This cross cut is about 70 feet in, north, from the old workings. No work has been done in the intermediate level this week, as some repairs had to be completed, ' f " No 2 Big Eivhs— Since last report the , contractors bare driven 18 feofej total di stance 42 feet. The ground is good for driving at present, but is lying very flat, and so far there is no appearance of stone. ■ ' ■ -
