The Medical Congress.

The Medical Congress unanimously recommended the suppression of public places, the extension of the notification of the existence of phthisis cases, the establishment of santoria, the special inspection of markets and dairies. The next Congress will meet in Paris. J Big Fire in China. London, July 28. A private cable announces the destruction by fire of the loading Foochow tea merchants’ offices, including those of O'Neill, Anderson, Gettin. Thureas and Fraser Ramsay and Coy.
