Perhaps the reader is a “Doubting Thomas, for Greymouth is full of them. Doubts, as a rule, leads to investigation, and, as “ Doubting Thomas ” will not accept as facts a long statement ‘giving particulars of some incredible cure on the other side of the continent, he is asked to investigate the following testimony of a local citizen. Mrs. McPherson, Preston Road, of this town, says :—“ Mr. McPherson has had pains in the back for some considerable time, and was at a loss what to do about the matter. Nothing seemed to overcome the agony, no matter what he used. Three months ago we saw Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills advertised and I chained a box at Williams’s Pharmacy mid he used them with great success. In fact, after lie had taken them for a period the pains disappeared and he has never had them return since. Another member of my family used (hem with equal success. lam very glad to speak about so very good a medicine.”
• Success has brought up many imitations of Doan’s Pills, but there is nothing “ just as good ” as the remedy. You should insist upon having the remedy Mrs. McPherson speaks of, Doan’s Backache Kidney Pills. For sale by all chemists and storekeepers at 3s per box (six boxes 1(3/6), or will be posted on receipt of the price by the proprietors, Foster-McClellan Co., 70 Pitt Street, Sydney, N.S.W. But bo sure they arc DOAN’S.
