THE RUSSELL BIGAMY CASE.

[per PRESS ASSOCIATION. —COPYRIGHT.] London, July 19. 200 Peers, including lord Salisbury and the Archbishop of York, attended the Russell bigamy trial, which was a picturesque spectacle. Lord Halsbury over-ruled the objoc tion in regard to jurisdiction. Lord Russell erred through ignorance, and had been the subject of great provocation. Tho Court returned a unanimous verdict of guilty, but admitting provocation. Lord Russell was sent to Holloway for three months.
