Otago Winter Show.
Donedin, June 26.
The Otago A. and P. Society's winter show was opened to-day by the Hon Mr Duncan, Minister for Agriculture. The 1 display is an excellent one. The following is the prize list:—Cheese, 10 cwt, f 'll cream, New Zealand company; shaped cheese, coloured suitable for export, Waikouaiti factory ; 10 cwt ditto, white, Waikouaiti factory, 10 cwt factory cheese, f aciories whose annual output does not exceed 40 tons, Heathfield factory; chaK lenge cup, Waikouaiti factory. At the adjourned meeting of the Licensing Committee the Stipendiary Magistrate said that while the Committee recognised the necessity for improved accommodation, he felt that it would be a hardship to compel licensed victuallers to
