London, June 25. Private J. Ewart (New Zealand Mountcds), was accidently wounded at Paardeplaats. Lord Kitchener reports additional i Boers killed, 27 wounded, 160 taken prisoners, 70 surrendered, 42,000 rounds of small arm ammunition, 264 wagons, anti a large number of horses and stock were captured. The surprise of the Midland Mounted •Rifles at Waterkloof was carried out by Krailzing-r at daybreak, and just as the Mid antis were star ing the day’s march. The fight lasted 2£ hours. Colonel Pilcher captured 500 horses and a quantity of grain at Western Grange.
