Accomodation for Seamen. London, June 21. Justice Matthews has decided that the Peninsula and Oriental Company is bound to provide Lascars the same accommodation as other seamen. Justice Matthew laid down that the Merchant Shipping Aot govorned the question, not the Indian Act, that the Peninsula and Oriental Company were bound to provide crew space for Lascars in accordance with the English Aot. Fatal Firework Explosion. Kecoived this day at 10 51 a.m. New York, June 23. At an explosion of fireworks at Paterflon's, New York, fifteen were killed and twenty injured. The New Governor of the Philipines. The American Government has appointed General Chaffe, Military Governor of the Philipines. General MacArthur, late Commander in Chief of the Philipines has returned to America.
