Chbißtchubch, This Day, After lanch yesterday a ladies deputation made a presentation of a handsome gold and greenstone "letter wright'' to the Duchess on behalf of Prince Eddy whof e seventh birthday was yesterday. The
Duchess was much pleased at the gift which was from the ladies of Christchurch.
On Sunday afternoon the Duke and Duchess visited the Canterbury Museum and expressed pleasure and surprise at its size and valuable collection of exhibits.
The party afterwards ascended the Cathedral spire. There is a heavy frost this morning with brilliant sunshine.
There will bo no curtailment of the Dunedin programme for the next visit.
