PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Grey County Council, at a special meeting to be held on MONDAY, the Bth day of July, 1901, in accordance with the provisions of “The Rating Act, 1894,” and “ The Gold Duty Abolition and Mining Property Rating Act, 1890,” to make and LEVY a general rate of SIX EARTHINGS in the £, also an Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of Three-Eighths of a Penny (f) in the £, in accordance with the provisions of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885,” upon the rateable value of all rateable property as appearing upon the Valuation Rolls now in force within the County, for and in respect of the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1901, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1902.
