SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
(To iho Editor.)
Sin, —Kindly allow me through the valuable spaces of your paper to ask your opinion as to who is right and who is wrong, the Chairman of the Stillwater Committee or the Chairman of the Dobson Committee. The Chairman of the Stillwater Committee refused to receive nominations after they were declared closed. The Chairman of the Dobson Committee received two after they were declared closed. I also want to know, Mr Editor, if it is right to keep a resolution on the minute book for 10 months without dealing with it, also whether it is the correct thing to road the headmaster’s monthly report at the annual meeting of householders. I also wish to inform one of your correspondents of a week or so ago, that theie quite sufficient “ and more ” men than were required to form a committee of householders.
Trusting I have not taken up too much of your valuable time and space, and that you will give publicity to all I have written. I remain, Yours, &c., George Mark. Dobson, June 18 th, 2901. [We have been compelled to excise a considerable portion of this letter, having the fear of libel before us. Wo do not return correspondence.— Ed. E.S.]
