HOMELY INFORMATION.
What is more unpleasant or annoying than any irritation of the skin ? The great English bard has said " There was never yet a philosopher who could endure toothache." If we substitute for the last word " Irritation of the skin," there would still bo much truth in the statement. And, of course we are not all philosophers, but must take our share in the daily concerns of life, including its troubles. The varied forms of skin complaint, which we need not name, are unfortunately pretty common; contagion spreads them rapidly. If you have any sucb, remember there is an unfailing remedy at hand, which has soothed and healed all manner of skin irritations, and is still doing so. That remedy is Doan's Ointment; testimony to it is universal. Mrs Cundy, Preston Eoad, this town, says:—" I used Doan's Ointment for inflamed eyes, and I found that this pregaration is very good for the trouble, I get a burning inflammation of the eyes, and can scarcely see out of them. I used a number of remedies without muoh luck till one day I obtained Doan's Ointment at Williams's Pharmacy. This is the best preparation I have ever used. It is very cooling, and keeps down the inflammation. I can recommend it for skin trouble. Doan's Ointment is splendid in all skin diseases, eazerna piles, liver, insect bites, chilblains, etc. It is perfectly safe and very effective. Very often two or three pots have cured chronic diseases after other remedies have failed for years.
For sale by all chemists and storekeepers at 3/ ■ per pot, six pots 16/6, or will be posted on receipt of price by the proprietors, Foster-McClellan & Co., 76 Fits Street, Sydney, N.B.W, But bo sure it is Doans.
