BLATCH OR LILLYWHITE?
The London correspondent of the Post says -. —A question which is a good deal exercising the Town Council of Colchester is, "What has become of the two detectives who were sent to New Zealand to arrest the man described as Blatch?" otherwise Lillywhite, on suspicion of being the perpetrator of the mysterious Colchester murder. This question was actually put at the meeting of the Council a day or two ago, and the member who put it suggested that the time had arrived when the Watch Committee should offer a reward for tho discovery of the missing detectives. The Watch Committee however, flatly declined to be "drawn" and politely 1 informed the inquisitive Councillor that no information was at present available. I may add that there seems to be a growing impression in this country that the case will prove to bo one of mistaken identity.
