The negotiations of the Governmeut for the purchase of the FJaxboorne estate, between Blenheim and Kaikoura, the property of Sir Geo, Clifford, are still in progress. The Railway between Blenheim and the Awatera will, when completed, a few months hence, place Flaxbourne within two hours run of Blenheim.
