Eeceived this day, at 910 a m. , London, Juno G. Twenty-live starters faced the barrier for the Derby.
Olympian led into the straight, but when a quarter of a mile from home Volodyoski wa.- leading-. William TIT. threw out a challenge at the distance and got within a neck of Volodyoski, hut the favourite answered and won .by threequarters of a length, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 2 40 4-sth. The American jockey (L. EeifT) rode Volodyoski. The attendance at Epsom was a record.
