Auckland, This Day.

The Teachers’ Salaries Commission have decided to ask the Governor to extend the time £o -ty days, bringing it lo July 28th. . Rico, Secretary of the Education Board, said that a number of schools were altogether disproportionate to the capitation. In Auckland there wore 392 schools staffed by 800 teachers with an average attendance of 24,000. Only 05 schools received more than enough for their maintenance.
