Messrs Stratford, Blair and Co have just completed the purchase from Messrs Butler Bros, of she whole of their very complete sawmill plant, timber rights, &c. at Kokiri. This- Jinn have now in work the following mills; —Groymonth town mill. Kaiata sawmill, Dobson sawmill, ISg.ahoro sawnvll, Kokiri sawmill, Kaimata sawmill, and will fco able to turn out a, largo qua '.lily of timber for some years to come. Mr,Joseph Jay intends giving up coni meting for worko on his own account, and will in future devote all his time and energy to the business of the firm. Y?o congratulate this firm for their energetic business capacity. They have for a number of years been rutting at very low prieps, but now that timber is bringing a better price on the market, they will reap the benefit of their enterprise.
