THE FRISCO MAIL.

(per press association).

Wellington, This Day. • The Frisco mail agent reports that again a bag of letters from London for New Zealand has been left behind somewhere in the United States. The Sierra was detained an hour to enable the mail authorities to endeavour to find the missing bag, butit could.notbe located and the steamer proceeded to sea. The bag evidently contains ordinary letters, . as registered letters as advised by London have been received. Mr Stephenson Smith is now in Eastern States, and will no doubt enquire into the recent delays to mails.
