GREY MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

The Official Assignee in Bankruptcy of the propertv of Humphrey Oliver, a bankrupt, v. J. McLeod. Claim for 12s Judgement for plaintiff by default.
' M. Mathieson v. G. Bhaef and Son. Claim for £4. Mr Guinness appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Hannan for defendant. Plaintiff was non-suited.
M. A. Giblin (Wanganui) v. W. Hayea. Mr Guinness appeared for the defendant. This was an application to have evidenco taken on behalf of defendant. The evidence was taken and ordered to bo sent on to Wanganui. Costs (£2 10s) were allowed defendant. A first offender for drunkenness was convicted and discharged. J. Corbett was charged with behaving in an offensive manner in a railway carriage to the annoyance of others. Canvicted and fined 5s with costs 265. F. Maloney waß charged with destroying a stool valued at 3s, the property of the Now Zealand Government. Convicted and ordered to pay 3s damages.
