Auckland, May 17.
All hope is now abandoned for the brigantine Linda Weber,- eight weeks out from Gisborne to Ngururu in ballast. She was last heard of off East Cape on April 23. She is owned by Capt D. Shaw of Auckland and is insured for £3OO.
