In the House of Commons the debate on the Army reorganisation resolution is concluded.
Mr Brodrick. in the course of a spirited summing up, urged that there was comparative- unanimity on the Government side and hopelessness awaiting unanimity amongst the military experts. Mr Bannatyne’s amendment was negatived by 327 votes to 211. There was no cross voting. The Unionists abstained from voting. They 'included Winstin Churchill, Yerburgh, Colombo, Major Easch, Colonel Wclby, I Goulding, Grattan. The resolution was then put and carried by 305 against 163.
