HOMILY INFORMATION.
What is more unjTmsant or annoying than ar y irritation of the skin ? The grea 1 English bard has said “ There was never yet a philosopher who cou'd endure toothache.” If wo substitute for the last word “ Irritation of the skin,” there would s:i 11 be much truth in tho statement. And, of course wo are not all philosophers, but must take our share in :he daily concerns of life, including its troubles. Tho varied forms of skin complaint, which wo need n t name, are unfortunately pretty common; contagion spreads them rapidly. If you have anj such, remember there is an unfailing remedy at hand, which has soothed and healed all manner of skin irritations, and is still doing so. That remedy is Doan’s Ointment; testimony to it is universal. Mrs Gundy, Preston Load, this town, says:—“ 1 used Doan’s Ointment for inllamcd eyes, and I found that this preparation is very good for the trouble, ] get a burning inflammation of the eyes, and can scarcely sec out of them. I used a number of remedies without muck luck till one day I obtained Doan’s Ointment at William’s Pharmacy. This is the best preparation I have ever used. It is very cooling, and keeps down the inflammation. I can recommend it for skin trouble.
Doan’s Ointment is splendid in all skin diseases, cazerna piles, liver, insect bites, chilblains, etc. It is perfectly safe and very effective. Very often two or three pots have cured chronic diseases after other remedies have failed for years.
For sale by all chemists and storekeepers iit 3 1 per pot, six pots IG/G, or will be posted on receipt of price by the proprietors, Foster-McClellan & Co. : Sydney. But be sure it is Doans.
