TWO FRIGHTFUL TRAGEDIES.

Sydney, May 9.

Two tragedies occurred in the country at Goulburn. Henry Schnoor, an old man living alone, was found with his skull battered in. The indications were that on entering the house someone hidden inside felled him. His purse was missing from his pocket. At Young, Nicholas Jasprizza, a wellknown orcliardistand his wife were in the bedroom, when two shots were fired through the window. Jasprizza was killed and his wife wounded slightly. A man in Jasprizza's employ has been arrested.
