Received this day at 9 9 a.m, London, May 8. The Emperor of Corea disapproving of the Railway syndicate loan, the President of the Privy Council resigned. In connection wi.th the tug Ewo incident at Tientsin, it is now stated that the tug had a Chinese crew, and when passing under the bridge the Chinese declined to answer the German sentry who thereupon fired. There were no Europeans aboard.
