ROYALTY IN AUSTRALIA.

Melbourne, May 4.
Colonel Penton arrived last night. The New Zealand troops are a fine body of men and much admired on the march to the camp. The Victorian Government furnish suitable mounts. This morning a full rehearsal of the military procession takes place. To-day tha Ophir will be off the Vic toria coast. To-morrow, as soon as she comes to anchorage in Hobson’s Bay, the Royal Party will leave the yacht at one thirty and board the steamer Hyglia, landing at St Kilda pier precisely at two. The great procession city wards will then start.
The Ophir anchored in Britannia BayOff Frankston at noon. Bain fell yesterday, but cleared late in the day. The weather is cloudy and cold, 10,000 people are arriving daily. Major-General French commands the Federal troops at the functions. The American cruiser Brooklyn will visit New Zealand before returning to Manila. Mr Wragge (meteorologist) predicts a storm with the portentous title of Moloch which may reach here, shortly.
