Sydney, This Day
The railway traffic during the week to Melbourne was very heavy. The Department has had a great difficult v in providing sleeping accommodation. Fegan confirms the report of his resignation though it meant a loss financially, and in prestige to him he preferred to incur the loss rahter than to occupy a position at the expense of Barton and Lyne.
