AUSTRALIAM CELEBRATIONS.

[by electeic. telegraph—copyright.]

(PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION.)

Sydney, This Day

Three special trains run to-day carrying the State Federal members with their friends, and visitors from all other colonies including a considerable number of Few Zealanders and all departing steamers are crowded.

Fegan confirms the report of his resignation though it meant a loss financially, and in prestige to him he preferred to incur the loss rahter than to occupy a position at the expense of Barton and Lyne.
