Tho State Engineer, owing to the collapse of & culvert at Hofa, says that the Pekin train was derailed and 11 Chinese killed and two Americans and 40 Chinese injured. Kottler's Brigade, after the engagement at Haishankwan, seized the Great Wall. One column was engaged for 11 hours expelling a portion of Sin's force at a basrion overlooking one pass. Nineteen, including three officers, were wounded, and two killed. Another of Kettlers column dislodged the enemy from a strong position, Tuelmann's battalion's at Tsragling going in pursuit over the Wall a 3 far as Kukwan. Eleven old and cwo new quick firing guns were captured.
Twelve Germans were wounded and one killed.
Kettler is returning from Paotingfu to arrange for the French occupation of Kukwan.
