Police v. Watson, charged with theft of an overcoat valued at £2. The Magistrate dismissed the case, it being evident that no theft was intended, the coat being returned. Higgins v. Irvine, charged with using a county road with narrow tyres on wheels. Fined 5/- and 7/- costs. Police v. Osborne, charged with using insulting language to Constable M'Kenzie. Convicted and fined 10/- and costs. A charge against Eastbury for keepiug a brothel was dismissed.

Two breaches against; the Licensing Act were held over till May 6th.
