PERRY’S REWARD COMPANY.

The Chairman of Directors (Dr. Teichelmann) in the Perry’s Reward Gold Dredging Company has issued the following report to the shareholders : —ln a previous communication your directors expressed the opinion that calls up to 15s per share would be sufficient to enabkthem to start work. In this they were near the mark, but it is desirable to have a little money in hand for the first month’s work while opening up the claim, and they deemed it advisab e to make another cal! of Is per share. Messrs M’Millaa and Thompson, the contractors for the building of the pontoons, completed their work in a very satisfactory manner and a successful launch took place on March 27th in the presence of the directors and a largo number of visitors. The contract for the erection of machinery has been let to the same firm and they are making rapid progress with the work. We have been fortunate in securing as dredgemaster Mr Duncan M’Gregor, who acted in a similar capacity for the Eiverbank dredge for the six weeks she was at work. He is at present assisting in the erection of the machinery. The dams have been thoroughly repaired, the water supply being more than sufficient; so that no time will be lost in getting to work immediately on completion of the erection of machinery.
