GREY RIVER HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
The monthly meeting of the Grey Kiver Hospital Trustees was held last night, Present—Messrs. Petrio (chair), Kerr, Sheeclv, Phillips and Yarrall.
Mr. Kerr desired to know if the Carnival results liad been supplied. The Chairman said the local bodies had only passed their amounts a few days ago, and Mr. Lord could not give statement till this was got.
Mr. Phillips said the matter had been longstanding. The Chairman had no doubt the statement would be to hand before next meeting. The Visiting Committee reported everything in good order. Accounts amounting to £l3O Is 6d were pas3ed for payment. The total number of patients treated during the past month was CO. There were 13 patients admitted, nine discharged and one died. There remained in the institution at the end of March 43 male and 7 female patients. The doctor was authorised to procure necessary surgical instruments from Home at an expenditure of £35. Tho Visiting Committee recommended bonus to Mr. Massey of £lO and payment of Miss Barclay's travelling expenses.—Eeport odopted. The Treasurer's statement showed a debit of £532.
The Chairman, Hon. Treasurer and Secretary were empowered to prepare the annual statement for presentation to the Charitable Aid Board.
Messrs. Gieseking, M'Carthy and Kerr were appointed a visiting committee for the month.
