Reception at Colombo. Received this day at 9 8 a.m. Colombo, April 12. The Ophir has arrived at Colombo. . The voyage across the Indian Ocean from Aden was perfect. The fetes held at Colombo and Randy were a great success, the decorations and illuminations were on a lavished scale and enthusiastic. The crowd were everywhere. Sympathic addresses were presented by the principal public bodies. The Yorks are in the best health and spirits.

Dukedin, April 12. The South Islands will bo represented at the Native gathering at Eotorua at tne time of the Duke of York's visit. Five go from Hently and two from Port Molyneux A suggestion that the address to be presented from the South Island Maoris be framed with greenstone has been taken up warmly and will probably bo carried, out.

Wellington, April 12. The Department of Agriculture has been instructed to purchase two pair of carriage horses for the use of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall while in tho colony. It is officially intimated that the armorial bearings of the Duke of Cornwall arc arms, coronet crest, 'plumes and supporters, exactly as borne by His Majesty the King when Prince of Wales.
