The Marquis Ito, Premier, addressing Jiis parliamentary supporters at Yokohama, said that it was impossible to deny that Japan felt the complications in China created by Russia or ignored the clouds on the horizon. London, March 28. The Viceroys of the Yangtze provinces, backed by the whole of the central provinces, have memoralised the Throne in the strongest terms not to sign the Manchurian convention.
The Times' Pekin correspondent states that nothing is authoritatively known there, though there are persistent reports that China has rejected t ic convention.
