Shooting began this morning. The weather was good, but the wind tricky. Only 14 fired in the match for the returned South Africaners at 500 and COO yards, ten shots-the prize-list being :

In the Wanganui match some good shooting was made, and King got on an excellent score of 100 and shot up level with tlio leaders for the Belt. The following are the chief prize-takers : wanganui hatch, 300, 500 and 700yds, seven shots.

The following arc the highest of the hundred who fire in the aggregate match, which is next to last match for the Belt.
