The burlcsquo actress, Billic Barlow, suing as Mrs Minnie Stuart Menzies, has commenced an action against the Bulletin claiming £SOOO damages for alleged libellous comment on her stage dres?, while appearing in the pantonine at Tivoli. The libel is contained in a paragraph published on January 12th. The jury visited the theatre last night when the plaintiff appeared in the dress forming the subject of the action. Melbourne, March 27 The description of the body washed ashore i* said to correspond with that of the captain of the Federal. Although the list of her crc.v supplied by the shipping office it appears several men had signed off lately. The names of the officers were the correct names. The Treasurer has accepted a tender at 99 for the unallotted portion of the local loan. The Loss of the Glenpark. Adelaide, March 28 The Inquiry into tho loss of the ship Glenpark resulted in tha captain's certificate being suspended for two months.
