The land lies in the upper basin of the Tadmor Yalley, adjoining the Tadnior Settlement, its nearest point being about 14 miles from the Motupiko Bailway Station. The block is covered with forest, chiefly birch, though interspersed in parts with rimu, white pine, and other timbers. It is generally of a hilly character, though not abrupt, and is suitable for grazing when cleared and grassed, but in the valley itself there are good flats throughout the whole length.
