Received this day, 9 22 a.m. London*, March 25. A number of war ships and torpedo boat destroyers met the Ophir outside Yaletta harbor. The gambols of the destroyers was among the features of the approach. Malta was magnificent. A gun fire was maintained from the battle ships and forts. The Ophir steamed into harbor in biillianl weather. The Duke of York signalled his thanks for the welcome by wireless telegraphy, saying “ Glad to be with you again on such an interesting occasion.”
