Takaaki Kats. the Japanese Minister tor Foreign Affairs, state that Britain’s strange construction of the Anglo-German agreement did not concern Japan. His Government adhered to the plain unmistakeable meaning of the agreement. The Ministers of Britain, Germany, France, and Japan at Pekin are making an examination of the resources of China in relation to the payment of indemnities.
