Discount Ticket Case.
The police proceeded against Toed and Company, chemists, for issuing a discount ticket in connection with a cash register. The defence was that the Act was levelled against the particular Company, and not intended to interfere with private traders, which view the S.M. supported, at the same time stating that the law was not very clear.
