The Federal Commission examined Mr Nash, financial editor of the Daily Telegraph, Sir William M'Millan, Dr M'Lauria, and Schey, Secretary of tho Protsetionist Party and formerly a member of the Labor party. Mr Eeid will give his views on Monday. The Commission sails for Hobart by the Cuzco on Wednesday, thenco to Melbourne, Adelaide, and finally to Brisbane. Thoy expect to leave Sydney for Wellington on April 27th. It is understood that M'Millan, who was before tho Commission over two hours and dealt exhaustively with the whole question, favors New Zealand joining, while Dr M'Laurin said that is: he were a New Zealander ho would not join. Schoy's evidence was taken to ascertain tho wages paid in Australia to enable the Commission to compare them with those paid in Now Zoaland.
