Lord Kitchener has confirmed the sentences on Jan Mioaber, Sarel Minaber, and Jan Nieuwoudt for treason, murder and train wrecking. Talbois' men were shot at De Aar at sun-.ct. The Dutch pastor was present. The War Office is sending 3,003,000 blankets to South Africa, and many comforts. Colonel Deano i 3 returning' to organise n CDulral camp of 16,000 Yeomanry at Germiston. Sir A. Milner remains at Johannesburg for three months. Sinking and crushing has begun on a limited sealc at the Simmer and Jack, Jubilee, City, Suburban, Salisbury and Other properties. Kruitzinger has been driven north. He lost forty killed and wounded on the 17th, also 70 horses and many saddles The commando is armed with LceMetfords and'EnfieldS; and is splendidly mounted.
At Gorringa ths'ro were several tougl skirmishes.
