Tourists will doubtless be interested to hear that Messrs Logan 8r05.,.0f Auckland, have received art order from Messrs Hatrick and Co.,- of Wanga-vui, for a launch to be used on the Wanginm Kiver ab::,vo Pipinki, to coniect with the present steamers running below that point. The new boat will be 40ft long, and as she is to be used in working the shallow water she is only to draw 12in, and is what is known as a tunnel-boaS the propeller being fitted in a tunnel like hollow at the bottom She will be fitted with a 10 horse-power Union oil engine by Messrs W. A. Ryan and Co.
