Rekpton, This Day. The weather to-day is perfect, and there is every hope of continuance. A great number of visitors arrived by the mid-day train. Tho following results came to hand: — TRIAL. 21 —Surrey 1 37—Artillery Maid 2 15—Haria 3 Totalisator, £202 ; div., £0 lfis ; time, lmin l'J 1-osec. Seabreeze, Sarah Jennings and Reikura also started. All got away with a splendid start. Artillery Maid led first time past, Reikura then shot ahead and maintained that position half way round the course. Entering the straight, Artillery Maid led till half | way, when supplanted of her winning by a length.

The field got away with a splendid start, Garmoran and' Milktream loading till half way round, when Petroline was second on entering the straight. A meeting of the stewards is being held to consider the alleged boring.
