GREYMOUTH TROTTING CLUB.
The Trotting Club were fortunate yesterday afternoon in getting the weather to clear up. The track was a trifle soft, and time consequently slow. The contests on the whole were interesting. £1,547 was put through the machine, making £3,1:37 for the meeting. The following are the details

A protest was entered against Larrikin for galloping, and, after being heard by the Stewards, was dismissed.

Time, 4 minutes 24 seconds. Dividend, £5 os. Won by about 6 lengths. Cable being beaten for second place by about half a head. Five others started.
