Cocksfoot on the 17th was staining 30/-. Buyers had been offering for Cocksfoot seed more readily. Canterbury mutton averaged 4 Id, and Dunedin and Wellington 4d. Australian 3Jd. River Plato 3kk Canterbury lamb o|d. Wellington old. Australian 4|d. Tho market is steady. Beef, hind, 3jd; fore, 3Jd.
